How to Add a Simple Product

Step-by-step instructions

1. Log in to the dashboard and click Products in the left menu.
2. Click Add New to open the product editor.
3. Type the product name at the top of the page.
4. Write a clear product description in the main text area.
5. In the Product data box, keep the product type as Simple product.
6. Enter the regular price. Add a sale price only if needed.
7. Open the inventory tab and enter the stock quantity if stock tracking is used.
8. Add a short product description in the smaller text box below.
9. Set the main product image on the right side.
10. Choose the correct category and then click Publish.
